Â鶹¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ, College of Nursing offers two DNP pathways, post-masters and post-bachelors. Advanced practice specialty education at the doctoral level is needed to address the growing complexity of patient care and healthcare systems. Advanced practice roles require competencies in population-based care, leadership, health policy, health system improvement, research, and evidence-based practice.

The post-masters to DNP pathway builds on advanced practice knowledge and skills obtained through a master’s degree, to deepen nurses’ competency in clinical or administrative specialty roles. The post-bachelor’s pathway allows seamless progression from the completion of a baccalaureate degree to the completion of advanced education for clinical or administrative specialty roles. Students earn MSN and DNP degrees through enrollment in the post-bachelor DNP pathway, which eliminates several courses.

*Each DNP program of study is customizable to the student. Upon admission, students will work alongside their Graduate Advisor to create a program of study that best fits their individual needs.
